Our Story
A Jewish day school in Miami Beach, built on one belief: school can be joyful, serious, and deeply personal. We started with five children, and we still know every one by name.
Since 2011
Our story
In 2011, Katy Horowitz moved from London to Miami Beach with a simple belief: school can be joyful, serious, and deeply personal. Together with Sharone Eichberg, she started with five children in a living room.
That small beginning became Gan Katan, then a kindergarten in 2017, then a grade added every year. Families kept coming because the school felt warm, close, and full of life.
Today, Pardes serves more than 220 students across two campuses, from preschool through 8th grade. It is bigger now, but it still feels like a place where children are known well.
Known well. Close. Full of life.

What we believe
Multiple teachers in every classroom means children are seen, known, and taught with real attention every day.
Jewish life is woven into the day, through learning, celebrations, middot, and a deep love for Israel.
Real-life skills matter here, from collaboration and resilience to guided practice that gives families calmer evenings.
Leadership
Strong schools are shaped by people who know the school well and care deeply about the families inside it.

Pardes Day School's elementary program is accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF). The academics are serious, and the school still feels warm and personal.
Many families first come for one stage of school and stay because the place feels warm, grounded, and full of life.
