Pardes Day School · Elementary (K-5)
Precision academics. Real-life skills. Every single day.
Kindergarten through 5th grade. Multiple teachers in every classroom, practice built into the day, and a curriculum designed for mastery.

The Pardes Way, K through 5
Built different. On purpose.
Every part of the elementary day is intentional. Multiple teachers work at once in every classroom, children get direct instruction every day, and practice happens at school, not at the kitchen table.
Skills every morning
Academics
Skills and content, working together.
Our English curriculum builds strong readers, clear writers, and students who can discuss ideas with confidence. Designed and refined by our Head of School, it keeps instruction practical, joyful, and built for mastery.
Math uses HMH Into Math, and we track growth with NWEA MAP Growth. Afternoons bring those skills to life through science, social studies, and real-world projects.
Every child gets direct instruction, every day.
Lived, not studied
Practical Jewish living
Joyful Jewish education, woven through.
We use Torah 4 Children for Kriah, Bright Beginnings and Lashon HaTorah for Chumash, and Bright Beginnings for Gemara, all guided by the JSAT standards from COJDS.
Children see how Torah wisdom, mitzvot, and tradition guide daily decisions, build relationships, and strengthen community.
Judaism is not a subject here. It is how we live.
LeHashlim
Built for life
Character woven into everything.
Real-life skills are not a separate program at Pardes. They are embedded in how we teach, how we greet each other, and how we resolve challenges.
LeHashlim, our real-life skills curriculum, teaches collaboration, emotional management, and the skills the real world actually demands. Our teachers are skilled coaches who notice, model, and guide.
Children grow up capable, kind, and whole.
How it works
The details that matter.
Multiple teachers, every room
No more than 20 students per class, with more than one teacher in every room. Skill subjects like ELA, Math, Kriah, Kesivah, Chumash, Mishnah, and Gemara are taught by expert teachers in small, fluid groups, so every child works at exactly the right level.
Evenings belong to family
Homework is reading review in Hebrew and English. Practice, practice, practice. Everything else happens during the school day.
Skills for the real world
Starting in 3rd grade, students explore foundational technology, including age-appropriate AI literacy and Waggle mathematics. AI literacy is taught with adult guidance, filtering, and clear boundaries, focused on responsible use, never unsupervised screen time.
